In the 2nd week of February, I was back at the WPNSA for Laser 4.7 training where we worked on upwind and downwind speed, the new boat really made a difference to my performance and my confidence. This was challenging due to the extremely strong winds but I stuck with it and came in the top 3 most races. On the Sunday, the wind was too strong to sail in the afternoon so we worked on some boat setup tips and other theory in the classroom such as gybing and mark rounding which was very useful.
The next day I went for a photo shoot with Rockfish and Mitch Tonks where we set up the boat outside the restaurant.
The next weekend I got protein supplements to build my muscles up leading to Spain and on wards from that so I can better my hiking effectiveness.
During the last week of February, I had work experience with the Coastguard where I learned lots including some tips that could help me when racing with Meteorology.
