On the 4th of May, I was at Torbay Hospital for my next appointment. Here I was told my MRI was all clear and there was no damage to any ligaments, cartilage or anything else in my knee. This meant it was either psychological or neurological. The consultant has referred me to the Neurology Department but the waiting list is up to 9 months away so I may not be back as soon as I had hoped. Not being able to sail has really brought me down but I have been trying to keep myself occupied with some D.I.Y and short shifts at work so I’m not in too much pain. Trying to stay positive has been really tough as everything seems to be against me but I am trying to find ways to keep happy and stay distracted so I don’t think about me knees too much. I just want to get back to normal so I can get back out on the water again.
